This is a realistic reproduction of a Kudu Antilopen horn, from Epoxy glass fiber. I have got it from Peter Spoecker , who developed these "artifical" Didgeridoos. In Germany one can order it at:
Asian sound
50823 Cologne
Venloer Strasse 176
Tel: 0221-528775 or 9522300

in US you will get it at didgeridoostore.com

There is still more fiber models, yucca reproduction, euka reproduction. And a detachable conical traveldidge from Poly Propylen.
Of the price and of the optics very attractively: -) Fiber Didges of 87, - to 118, - euro, the Traveldidge 69, - euro.

Didgeridoo E, from hornbeam, length approx.. 186 cm

Here one sees the funnel during the treatment. It is not yet very deeply prepared. The mouthpiece. I drilled the first part with a 14 mm diameter drill to have still enough "meat" for the structuring. The inside diameter becomes so not too large.

The raw-log, with bark.
Length approx. 190 cm.

This e-Didgeridoo is quite uncommon: The first trumpet tone is by its strongly conical shape on D and it has a very special sound characteristic. It demands the player, because it responds very sensitive. The more pressure you give, the louder it will be. Tompetentoene go like automatic, very easy.
It has an amazingly high basic tone with the quite small Bell and the length. Rarely!!!

Didgeridoo D, from red oak, length 188 cm, bell 9 cm inside.

Also a very high basic-pitch for the small Bell and the length.
The wood has a very beautiful texture and color. Although it is only medium-hard, this Didgeridoo has a beautifully "dirty" sound. Unfortunately it split during the drying process in the bell-area. It does'nt influence acustically , optically however it disturbs a bit. First trumpet clay/tone with C #.

Didgeridoo F, from hainbuche, length 160 cm, Bell 8 - 12 cm inside

At present my favorite. Loud, "traditionally" (I cant play this style, but I remain to learn it ; -) and contemporary well playable, very "dirty" sound. Rather heavily, rel. thick wallthicknes. First trumpet tone E.

Didgeridoo Gis, from cherry, length 140 cm, Bell 14 cm inside

The workoutmachine!
What should I say... Loud... high... demands a powerfull player... Extremely... profile-extension?! a real beauty.
If one can play it longer, that is the proof for a good condition ;-)
